There are a lot of abbreviations in recipes that don’t seem to click when we read them. Here are the ones that I use and have seen, if there are others that you are unsure of or that I have not listed feel free to send them to me.
Recipe Abbreviations
t or tsp = teaspoon
T or Tbsp = Tablespoon
C = Cup
pt/s = pint/s
qt/s = Quart/s
Gal/s = Gallon/s
ea = Each
oz. = ounce/s
lb. or # = Pound/s
min. = Minutes
hr. = Hour/s
AN = As Needed
TT = To taste
~ = About
fl. oz. = Fluid Ounce
